Principles of Our Vision
- Jerusalem is truly central to the three faith traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and to others; its soul and spirit embrace all of them, equally.
- Jerusalem is essential for justice, peace, equality, and reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians and in our world.
- All of Jerusalem’s inhabitants deserve to live a dignified life, in peace and equality, with the ability to freely pursue and develop their daily lives, including access to adequate housing, jobs, education, medical care, municipal services, religious sites, and cultural activities.
- All of Jerusalem’s inhabitants are entitled to their fundamental human rights and legal protection according to international law, including as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and United Nations resolutions.
